Matches

One fighter fights another without weapons, irrespective of their sex, age, weight, and experience.

The match ends when:

• a fighter withdraws, e.g. by tapping out; this fighter earns 1 point and qualifies for the next stage.

• a fighter starts bleeding and the physician cannot stop a their bleeding within 3 minutes; if the fighter themselves caused the bleeding, they earn no points and don't qualify for the next stage; if their opponent caused the bleeding, the bleeding fighter earns 1 point and qualifies for the next stage.

• a fighter withdraws because they are injured; if they injured themselves, they earn no points and don't qualify for the next stage; if their opponent injured them, the injured fighter earns 1 point and qualifies for the next stage.

• a fighter is knocked out; this fighter earns 1 point and qualifies for the next stage.

Chart

Sol Sports maintain a world chart of fighters by the number of won matches.

The fighter holding the first place in this chart is the current world champion.

When some fighters have the same number of wins, those with fewer defeats rank higher.

When some fighters have the same number of wins and the same number of defeats, those with the more recent wins rank higher.

Interactive format

1.1 A fighter can ask to be matched. We match them randomly.

1.2 They may indicate at least one desired match. If the first fighter on their list refuses the match, we invite the next one. If none of the fighters on their list accepts the match, we match them randomly to a fighter who is not on their short list.

2. Every member of the audience (MA) may ask us to have any fighter fight and to match them against any desired fighter.

We let them know which fighters accept what matches, and we let them choose matches, suggest times and venues, and choose whether they attend or watch the match(es).

We let them know what matches we can schedule. We schedule 2 or 3 matches per hour. We might limit many events to 2 hours.

We help watchers to schedule their watch. We sell tickets to attendees.

Even if we organize and broadcast only one match, the costs of all the services, including those of the sports hall, seem to amount to thousands of dollars, so we might organize each event after we collect USD 5,000.

Each fighter can choose what to charge for each match.

We provide statistical data of all matches and offer our audience charts for any number of events. This can help you e.g. follow fighters on a tour.

Classic format

Stages

Administrative levels vary from country to country. Tokelau is a tiny country which seems to include 3 atolls. This can be the first level. Each community can be on the second level. There can be at least a third level, because some villages have names for their parts.

Fighters may enroll in any stage.

Stage 1

Is organized at the deepest administrative level of a country, i.e. for its smallest administrative unit that organizers register with Sol Sports, e.g. a part of a village or a part of a town district. It includes up to 30 matches.

An appropriate hall or yard hosts up to 30 fighters, so we have 15 matches in the first round.

If a match can take 15 minutes, there will be 4 matches per hour, so the first round ends in 4 hours, which are included in 1 day.

The 8 matches of the second round would take 2 hours on the 1st day.

If a village or a town district has 5 parts, the first 10 fighters from each qualify for the next stage. Those who participate in the next rounds of this stage can earn points (and improve their world ranking) and a money prize.

The 4 matches of the third round would take 1 hour on the 2nd day.

The 2 semifinal matches and the final match would take place on the 2nd day.

Stage 2

Is organized at the next deepest administrative level of a country, e.g. a village or a town district, and includes up to 49 matches.

The largest hall hosts up to 50 fighters, so we have 25 matches in the first round.

If 2 matches take place simultaneously and a match can take 15 minutes, there will be 8 matches per hour, so the first round ends in 4 hours, which are included in 1 day.

The 13 matches of the second round would take 2 hours on the 1st day.

If a group of villages includes 5 villages or a town has 5 districts, the first 20 fighters from each qualify for the next stage. Those who participate in the next rounds of this stage can earn points (and improve their world ranking) and a money prize.

The 6 matches of the third round would take 1 hour on the 2nd day.

The 3 matches of the fourth round would take 1 hour on the 2nd day.

The semifinal match and the final match would take place on the 2nd day.

Stage 3

Is organized at the next deepest administrative level of a country, e.g. a group of villages or a town, and includes up to 99 matches.

The largest sports hall hosts up to 100 fighters, so we have 50 matches in the first round.

If 2 matches take place simultaneously and a match can take 15 minutes, there will be 8 matches per hour, so the first round ends in 7 hours, which can be included in 1 day.

The 25 matches of the second round would take 4 hours on the 2nd day.

The 13 matches of the third round would take 2 hours on the 2nd day.

The 6 matches of the fourth round would take 1 hour on the 3rd day.

If a county has a total of 100 villages and towns, 5 fighters from each qualify for the next stage. Those who participate in the next rounds of this stage can earn points (and improve their world ranking) and a money prize.

The 3 matches of the fifth round would take 1 hour on the 3rd day.

The semifinal match and the final match would take place on the 3rd day.

Stage 4

Is organized at the next deepest administrative level of a country, e.g. a county or a city, and includes up to 501 matches.

The largest sports hall hosts up to 500 fighters, so we have 250 matches in the first round.

If 4 matches take place simultaneously and a match can take 20 minutes, there will be 12 matches per hour, so the first round ends in 21 hours, which can be spread over 3 days.

The 125 matches of the second round would take 11 hours, which can be spread over 2 days.

The 63 matches of the third round would take 6 hours, which can be included in 1 day.

If a country has a total of 50 counties and cities, up to 60 fighters from each qualify for the next stage. Those who participate in the next rounds of this stage can earn points (and improve their world ranking) and a money prize.

The 31 matches of the fourth round would take 3 hours on the 7th day.

The 16 matches of the fifth round would take place on the 8th day.

The 8 matches of the sixth round would take place on the 9th day.

The 4 matches of the seventh round would take place on the 10th day.

The 3 semifinal matches and the final match would take place on the 11th day.

Stage 5

Is organized at country level and includes up to 2,999 matches.

3 towns host up to 3,000 fighters, so we have 1,500 matches in the first round.

If 5 matches take place simultaneously in a town on average and a match can take 20 minutes, there will be 45 matches per hour, so the first round ends in 34 hours, which could be spread over 4 days.

The 750 matches of the second round would take 17 hours, which could be spread over 2 days.

The 375 matches of the third round would take 9 hours, which could be included in 1 day.

The 188 matches of the fourth round would take 5 hours on the 8th day.

The 94 matches of the fifth round would take 4 hours on the 9th day at the 2 most profitable venues.

About 100 winners qualify for the next stage. Those who participate in the next rounds of this stage can earn points (and improve their world ranking) and a money prize.

The 47 matches of the sixth round would take 2 hours on the 10th day at these 2 venues.

The 23 matches of the seventh round would take place on the 11th day at the most profitable venue.

The 12 matches of the eighth round would take place on the 12th day at this venue.

The 6 matches of the ninth round would take place on the 13th day at this venue.

The 3 semifinal matches and the final match would take place on the 14th day at this venue.

Stage 6

Some countries need another level because they are a federation, e.g. Austria, or because they are large, e.g. China. The other countries wait out this stage.

Stage 7

Is organized at continental level and includes 5,000 matches.

Russia might choose the European competition. We could include Australia in the Asian competition.

A country hosts 5,000 fighters from approximately 50 countries in 5 towns, so we have 2,500 matches in the first round.

If 10 matches take place simultaneously in a town on average and a match can take 30 minutes, there will be 100 matches per hour, so the first round ends in 25 hours, which could be spread over 4 days.

The 2,500 winners qualify for the next stage.

Those who participate in the next rounds of this stage can earn points (and improve their world ranking) and a money prize.

The 1,250 matches of the second round would take 13 hours, which can be spread over 2 days.

The 625 matches of the third round would take 7 hours, which can be included in 1 day.

The 313 matches of the fourth round would take 4 hours on the 8th day.

The 156 matches of the fifth round would take 3 hours on the 9th day at 4 venues.

The 78 matches of the sixth round would take 2 hours on the 10th day at 3 venues.

The 39 matches of the seventh round would take place on the 11th day at 2 venues.

The 20 matches of the eighth round would take place on the 12th day at the venue for which we have sold the largest number of tickets.

The 10 matches of the ninth round would take place on the 13th day at the most profitable venue.

The 5 quarter-final matches of the 10th round would take place on the 14th day at one venue.

If 10 matches take place simultaneously in a town on average and a match can take 30 minutes, there will be 200 matches per hour, so the first round ends in 25 hours, which could be spread over 4 days.

The 2,500 matches of the second round would take 13 hours, which can be spread over 2 days.

The 1,250 matches of the third round would take 7 hours, which can be included in 1 day.

The 625 matches of the fourth round would take 4 hours on the 8th day at 8 venues.

The 313 matches of the fifth round would take 3 hours on the 9th day at 7 venues.

The 156 matches of the sixth round would take 2 hours on the 10th day at 6 venues.

The 78 matches of the seventh round would take place on the 11th day at 5 venues.

The 39 matches of the eighth round would take place on the 12th day at 4 venues.

The 20 matches of the ninth round would take place on the 13th day at 3 venues.

World ranking should influence the prizes given to more than one person, e.g. to places 5 to 9. These fighters must be ranked by the number of wins. Place 5 would receive USD 30k, place 6 USD 29 k, place 7 28k, place 8 27k, and place 9 26k. Subtotal: USD 140k

Place 10 would receive USD 20k, places 11 and 12 USD 19 k, places 13 to 15 18k, and places 16 to 19 17k. Subtotal: USD 180k

And so on!

Days

We would start each stage on the freest day in your country and schedule each day's matches at the freest times in your country.

We would limit the competition schedule for a non-working day to 3 hours and the competition schedule for a working day to 2 hours. If a match takes 15 minutes on average, up to 128 fighters can fight every week. We can set aside a week for stage 1 and maybe the same time for stage 2. We may need 2 weeks for stage 3, 3 weeks for stage 4, 5 weeks for stage 5, 6 weeks for stage 6, 8 weeks for stage 7. 

Venues

Sol Sports favor buildings with amphitheatrical structures. We want to seat the audience and to use toilets.

We adapt to the conditions from your area and can organize some competition stages in open air.

Audience

We ask every spectator:

• to behave legally, respectfully and friendly at all our competition venues.

• to keep the venue clean. We make sure that it's clean when you arrive.

Every adult can buy a ticket for every competition day.

Receptionists

Receptionists must:

• check tickets at the venue entrance.

Guards

Guards must:

• watch the audience while the audience are at the venue and prevent them from hurting any present person.

• arrest every person who has hurt another person and call the police.

• take out of the venue every person whom they see attempting to hurt another person.

Fighters

Fighters may enroll if:

• they are adults according to the laws of their country. The related liability lies with them. They must show to the organizer an identity document that indicates their date of birth.

• the laws applicable to them allow them. The related liability lies with them. They must submit to Sol Sports over the Internet a written declaration that according to their knowledge they may practice martial arts. The applicants who have no access to the Internet must submit this declaration

• they allow Sol Sports to store a copy of a medical certificate that informs that they may practice martial arts. The related liability lies with their physician.

Fighters must:

• follow the instructions of Sol Sports, the organizers, the referees, and the guards. They are meant to support them.

• provide communication data, e.g. an address or a telephone number.

• arrive at the venue 30 minutes before their match.

• show their identity document to the receptionist.

On the fighting ground, fighters:

• may wear simple, thin, close-fitting clothes.

• may wear simple, light, closed-toe footwear.

• may wear no other object, e.g. glasses, contact lenses, bracelets, rings or piercings.

• must follow the orders of the referee.

• must not injure or knock out their opponent.

Organizers

Organizers will conclude a written agreement with Sol Sports, which will include provisions like the following ones.

Organizers must:

1. follow our communication procedures and our instructions.

1. register with Sol Sports the administrative levels of their country of which they know, e.g. town district, town, and county.

2. indicate the administrative units in which they undertake to organize competition stages.

3. advertise the competition.

4. register fighters.

5. match fighters randomly.

If the number of fighters is odd, they match the last fighter randomly, too. They inform the other fighter of their 2 matches. 

If they reject one match, the organizer repeats the random matching until the odd fighter is accepted.

If all but one reject them, the last fighter can choose to fight 2 fighters in order to qualify for the next stage, or to not participate in this stage. If they choose to retire from the respective stage, the other 2 fighters will compete with each other.

6. inform fighters of their matches.

With the fighters who have access to the Internet the organizer shares the corresponding match item in our Podio app including the matches from a certain stage and a certain country. The app template will also include: the date of the match.

With the fighters who have no access to the Internet, but have a mobile telephone, the organizer shares this information in a text message and a call.

With the fighters who have no access to the Internet and no mobile telephone, but have a fixed telephone, the organizer shares this information in a registered letter and a call.

With the fighters who have no connected telecommunication device, the organizer shares this information in a meeting.

7. conclude rent agreements with venue owners.

8. hire trainers, referees, physicians, and guards.

Trainers

Trainers must:

• advise fighters so that they perform well and avoid injuries.

• choose appropriate fighting grounds.

Fighting ground

The fighting ground must be flat, dry, and a bit soft, and must include no thing that would hurt its users, e.g. stones or roots.

Referees

Referees must:

• make sure that the fighting ground meets the requirements.

• make sure that the fighters meet the requirements related to the fighting ground.

• indicate to fighters when they must start fighting and stop fighting.

• indicate the winner and record each win.

Physicians

Physicians must:

• be present at the venue during the competition for which they are hired, and use their tool bag to serve every person they can when any of the present people needs medical care.
